ABOUTME
Singer
Lenessa Age, a Hollywood California native, was born in the city of stars and creativity. At the age of three she would sit and watch The Sound Of Music three times in a row, in complete awe of the musical theatre magic. By the age of 4 while watching Annie, she would imitate a drunk Miss Hannigan, making it obvious that she would either become an actress or a drunk.
In first grade she moved to Redondo Beach where she went to school and became a so called “beach girl”. She swam, surfed, tanned and even tried her shot at water polo, but soon made a bigger splash on the stage. In 7th grade, naturally, she was cast as Miss Hannigan which sparked her love for theatre. It was then clear that Musical Theatre and Broadway would become her life long desire.
When not on stage she enjoys competitive ice skating, modeling, and tweezing her eyebrows. Combining her love for Disney and Theatre, most of her childhood vacations were spent aboard the Disney Cruise Line, where she hopes to one day perform. But after spending a semester at AMDA’s New York campus her love affair with NYC began. She lives and breathes anything New York. The theaters, the fashion, the architecture, the snow, the accent, and even the subway rats have captured her heart.
Her favorite roles include Portia in Something Rotten, Rizzo in Grease, and Suzy in The Marvelous Wonderettes. Some of her recent Theatre credits include Woman #2 (Melissa) in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Athens Theatre), Florinda in Into the Woods (Pacific Opera Project), and Dance Ensemble in Carousel (Opera San Luis Obispo).
In February 2019, she graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy with her BFA in Musical Theatre. She hopes to be able to perform aboard a Disney Cruise and then move to New York to make her dreams a reality.
